This policy explains what personal information Alphalize Technologies Private Limited collects through alphalize.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Alphalize Technologies Private Limited, from Vadayattukotta Road, Chinnakada, Kollam, Kerala 691001, India. For the information described here we are the data fiduciary — we decide why it is collected and what happens to it afterwards. You can reach us using the details in the last section.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and the forms on it. It does not cover the systems we build and install for our clients. When we implement an ERP, a POS counter or a mobile app inside another company, that company controls the data held in it and its own privacy policy applies, not this one.
What we collect
Very little, and only where you hand it to us on purpose. There is no visitor account on this site and nothing to sign up for.
- Job applications. When you apply through the careers form we receive and store your name, email address, phone number, the role you applied for, your CV, its original filename, any message you add, and the date and time you sent it. This is the only form on the site that submits data to us.
- Enquiries. The contact form sends nothing to our servers. It composes a message from what you typed and opens WhatsApp with it ready to send — see “How enquiries reach us” below.
- Your IP address. When you submit the careers form our server reads the IP address it arrived from, so it can limit how often the same source submits and turn away automated abuse.
What we do not collect
We do not build visitor profiles, we do not track you across other websites, we do not buy personal data about you, and we never sell or rent anything you send us. There are no advertising cookies on this site.
Why we use it
- To assess your application and to contact you about the role.
- To reply to your enquiry.
- To keep this website working, secure and available.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent when you send us an application or an enquiry — you choose to fill in the form and press send. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure for the rate limiting and spam checks on the careers form.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by asking us to delete what you sent. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you asked.
How enquiries reach us
The “Send message” button on our contact page does not transmit anything to us. It assembles what you typed into a WhatsApp message and opens WhatsApp so you can review and send it yourself. Until you press send there, the information stays in your browser.
Once you send it, your message and your phone number are processed by WhatsApp and its parent company, Meta, under their privacy policy rather than this one. If you would prefer not to use WhatsApp, email or telephone us using the details at the end of this page.
Who else sees your information
Applications stay with us. We do not pass them to recruitment agencies, advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not sell personal information.
Our providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes: Cloudflare hosts this site and stores submitted CVs, Resend delivers the application email, and Cloudflare Turnstile provides the spam check on the careers form. WhatsApp (Meta) is not our processor — when you send an enquiry there you are communicating with us on their platform, under their terms.
Where your information goes
Those providers operate outside India, so your application may be stored or transmitted outside India in the course of being delivered to us and held for review. We are based in Kollam, Kerala, and our team reads applications from there.
Content loaded from other companies
Almost nothing on this site is fetched from anyone else. Our fonts are served from our own servers, so no request is made to Google Fonts as you read this, and we embed no video players or maps. The one exception is Cloudflare Turnstile on the careers page, which loads its script from Cloudflare to run the spam check.
How we handle your CV
We check that the file really is a PDF or Word document rather than something disguised as one, and PDFs are re-saved to reduce their size before storage. The file is stored under a random name, never one derived from anything you typed.
Access to a CV is deliberately narrow:
- Applications are readable only through a passcode-protected page on this site.
- The passcode is checked on our server; access is refused without a valid session.
- CVs are never published as static files and are sent with instructions not to cache them.
- No password of yours is involved, because the site has no visitor accounts to hold one.
How long we keep it
- Applications and CVs are kept while they are still of use to us, so we can consider you for future openings. We do not remove them on a fixed schedule — ask us and we will delete yours.
- Rate-limiting records hold a request counter against your IP address, stored as plain text, and expire automatically within about an hour. They are not linked to your application or used for any other purpose.
- Enquiries sent over WhatsApp are held in that conversation, subject to WhatsApp's retention rules as well as our own.
- Storage in your browser remains until you clear your browsing data. The staff session cookie expires on its own.
Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites. Two things are stored, both strictly functional:
- Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token on the careers page, solely to confirm the submission is not automated.
-
A staff session cookie (
alphalize_manage) is set only when a member of our team signs in to edit the site. It is HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax and expires after between one and seventy-two hours. Visitors never receive it.
Our team's unsaved edits to page content are held in their own browser's local storage. Nothing about you is stored there, and it is never transmitted.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you may ask us to do any of the following, and we will not charge you for it:
- See a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete what we hold — we can remove an application and its CV completely.
- Withdraw a consent you gave earlier.
- Object to what we are doing with it, or ask us to restrict it.
- Receive what you sent us in a portable form.
Write to [email protected] and tell us what you would like done. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Raising a complaint
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, write to [email protected] or call +91 70252 05503, and address it to the data protection contact at Vadayattukotta Road, Chinnakada, Kollam, Kerala 691001, India. We acknowledge complaints within 30 days. If you are in India and remain unsatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This is a business website and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If what we do with your information changes, we will update this page and move the date at the top. Where a change is significant and we hold your contact details, we will tell you directly rather than rely on you noticing.
How to contact us
For anything in this policy — a question, a correction, or a request to delete what we hold — write to [email protected] or call +91 70252 05503.
